Izoplast 2K-W 28 kg 2-component bituminous waterproofing

Purpose:
- making durable, thick-layer, flexible anti-water coatings on vertical and horizontal surfaces, below ground level (foundations, underground parts of buildings and non-drinking water tanks) without the need to use technical inserts
- as an interlayer waterproofing under monolithic foundations: in wet and damp rooms, on balconies, on terraces
- spot or entire surface gluing of protective, drying or thermal insulation boards made of extruded polystyrene or stiff polystyrene foam
- especially recommended for use in conditions of strong hydration and environmental protection in water basins salted with sodium chlorides. Resistance to saline waters (approx. 3% NaCl.)
- for use in communication engineering in the field of road and rail engineering structures without restrictions, urban railway structures & amp; ldquometra without restrictions and for individual applications

Scope of application:
Substrate preparation: when applying to concrete and plaster, the cement setting process must be completed. The substrate must not be frozen, frosted and must be free of stagnant water. Remove loose parts and dust. Fill in joints, smooth out porous surfaces. Concrete surfaces must be primed with IZOPLAST RW anionic asphalt emulsion and wait for it to dry.
Preparation of the compound: the IZOPLAST 2K-W product consists of two components - powder and liquid. The loose component should be added to the liquid component and mixed with a drill until a homogeneous mass is formed. The mass and the powder in the original packaging are adjusted quantitatively (in the case of mixing smaller amounts, the following weight proportions should be observed: 3 parts wet component A to 1 part dry component B). The working time of the mixed material is 1 to 2 hours.
Application: Use cold. Apply the mass by hand using a smooth trowel or notched trowel on the primed surface. Apply the next layers after the previous one is dry. The waiting time before laying the second layer of IZOPLAST 2K-W waterproofing compound is approx. 8 hours. The mass is fully hardened after about 3 days. Waterproofing: on a dried concrete surface, primed with IZOPLAST RW, depending on the anticipated water load, one layer should be applied for medium waterproofing or two layers for heavy insulation. Where pressurized water loads are expected, the technical fabric should be embedded in the second layer of the mass, in particular along the joints of prefabricated elements and building partitions (e.g. walls or ceilings) and in their corners.
