The bitumen undercoat torch-on membrane, SBS-modified on the composite polyester-fibre glass needled cloth base. The top side covered with fine-grained mineral topping, along one edge of the membrane strip there is a zone of bitumen compound not covered with the topping, and protected with plastic film. The underside of the torch-on membrane is protected with plastic film.
The undercoat layer in multilayered water-protection systems and damp-proof insulation in the structures of walls or on/under floors or slabs placed in the ground in order to protect from water under hydrostatic pressure penetrating from the ground to the inside or from one part of the structure to another.
It is not designed for roof coverings with plant cultivation. If the product is used on buildings for which fire class resistance requirements are applicable, the part of the building where the product has been applied must meet those requirements and the requirement of the extent of fire spread
This membrane is fastened to the base with the use of mechanical connectors and by welding it on both transverse and longitudinal overlaps, or over the entire underside surface, depending on the used base.
This membrane must not by laid at an ambient temperature of less than +5°C, on wet and/or iced surfaces, during rainfall or snowfall and in times of strong winds. The rolls of the bitumen membrane shall be stored on an even base in an upright position, one layer, protected from overturning, damage, or ambient conditions. Rolls shall be transported in an upright position protected from overturning and damage.
