Characteristics
Permanently elastic, one-component polyurethane compound for joint sealing and filling. Due to its good adhesion, flexibility and deformation capacity, it withstands high loads. The bound mass is resistant to aging and weather conditions, also resistant to temporary effects of acids and bases. Remains flexible over a temperature range of -30 ° C to + 80 ° C. It has good adhesion to concrete, cement, fiber cement, porous concrete, ceramics, metal, wood, artificial and natural stone (except slate, marble).
< li> Permanently flexible, - Gas-tight,
- Easy to apply,
- For vertical and horizontal joints.
Application
For sealing and filling joints and expansion joints between buildings, in ceilings, in ceramic cladding (balconies, terraces, facades, floors industrial, public utility buildings, etc.) in industrial floors (e.g. warehouses, production halls, food industry) and on surfaces subject to pedestrian and vehicle traffic (e.g. parking lots).
For filling and sealing expansion joints in industrial facilities, work on finishing roofing. The mass is also used in the engineering, aerospace, automotive, railway and shipbuilding industries.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The sides of the joint must be clean, dry, free from plaster, paint, rust, oil, wax, grease, bitumen, dust. Any contamination reducing adhesion should be removed e.g. with wire brushes or by sandblasting. If there are any doubts as to the adhesion, perform a test. Any damage to the edge of the joint should be repaired, e.g. with PCC mortars or other materials, taking into account the mechanical and chemical loads, the depth of losses, and the strength parameters of the substrate when selecting the repair technology.
PRODUCT PREPARATION div>
The material is ready for use, the packaging should be placed in a manual or pneumatic squeezer.
CONDITIONS FOR USE AND BINDING
Application temperature: from +50 C to +350 C. weber.tec PU K 25 hardens as a result of the moisture absorbed from the air, therefore waterproofing in conditions of lack of air access should not be carried out.
NOTES PERFORMANCE
Protect the edges with e.g. painter's tape. The mass may adhere only to both side walls of the joint, therefore an expansion cord with a diameter greater by about 20% than its width should be placed in the joint.
weber.tec PU K 25 should be inserted into the joint by manual or pneumatic Squeezer and remove the tape securing the edges of the gap (before the preparation binds). Blisters must not be allowed at the edges of the joint or in the center of the applied mass.
