Murfor EFS are prefabricated reinforcing beams, consisting of two parallel flat bars joined together by means of wire, curved sinusoidally. Murfor is prefabricated in widths from 40 to 190 mm as reinforcement for adhesive mortar (type EFS). Murfor thin joints are produced only in the galvanized version (EFS / Z).
The main task of Murfor is to prevent cracks and fissures. Therefore, Murfor is used to strengthen the critical spots in buildings. A special role to be fulfilled is Murfor in the elevations, where in combination with stirrups, it allows loft elevations to be made of façade bricks and eliminates stresses around the openings, by changing the window area. It also allows expansion of the joints between the dilations (sometimes their complete liquidation).
It should be remembered that in order to mount the grate correctly, it must be supported at least 25 cm on both sides. If this is not possible (eg the expansion joint must "go" along the window opening), Murfor system stirrups should be used.
