Weber.rep 755 (Cerinol OF) is a modified plastic, ready to use after mixing with water, a smoothing mortar with a wide range of applications. This hydraulically binding mortar with grain size up to 0.5 mm is intended for applying layers with a thickness of 1.5 to 5.0 mm.
Weber.rep 755 is especially used as a smoothing mortar applied to the repair mortar weber.rep 754. In addition, it is used as a leveling and smoothing layer on all concrete surfaces in which defects were previously filled. Weber.rep 755 mortar, which can be used both inside and outside, after drying is vapor permeable and resistant to frost and weather conditions.
The surface must be clean, sound, rough and not frozen. All loose and sanding elements should be removed from its surface. The peel strength of a rough substrate should be at least 1.5 MPa. Before applying the mortar, the substrate should be moistened several times with plenty of water until it becomes matt-moist
A 25 kg bag of mortar should be mixed with approx. 4.0 - 4.5 liters of clean water until a lump-free mortar is obtained. First, pour in water, then gradually add weber.rep 755 and mix intensively for about 2-3 minutes.
After mixing, the finished mixture should be allowed to stand for at least 5 minutes. Then mix the mortar briefly. The desired consistency of the mixture is obtained by adding a small amount of water. With smaller amounts of the prepared mortar, we can use a low-speed (max. 400 rpm) drill with an attached stirrer for mixing.
Air and object temperature during processing: from + 5 ° C to + 30 ° C. The applied PCC repair mortar coating should be protected against drying out too quickly, therefore elevated temperatures and drafts should be avoided. The care should last at least 5 days, during which the applied coating should be protected from frost and cover or moisture should be applied. When fresh, the mortar cannot be sprayed with water. Working tools need to be washed with water from time to time.
Weber mortar were.rep 755 is applied to previously moistened (matt-moist) ground, using a trowel or trowel to a layer thickness of approx. 1.5 to a maximum of 5 mm. The mortar applied in the form of sludge should be mixed occasionally. In order to avoid the appearance of bubbles on the treated surface, you must first close all pores and small recesses with weber.rep 755 mortar cut to the consistency of the putty, and then apply the smoothing mortar to the desired thickness using the "fresh to fresh" method.
The surface to be scraped should be sufficiently small. After approx. 30 to 90 minutes (depending on the temperature of the substrate and air), you can wipe the slightly removed putty surface (without applying pressure) with a moist but not wet sponge with fine pores. After the weber.rep 755 mortar dries on the treated surface, it can be (for optical uniformity, colored coating or protection against the aggressive effects of atmospheric conditions and CO2 diffusion) protected with protective coatings, e.g. weber.tec 771 or weber.tec 772 (see technical data sheets)
